PURPOSE OF POST:

This post is to state why I strongly believe that Parents and concerned citizens across Canada who participated in this march were participating out of LOVE & CONCERN for their children and for ALL children in our public schools. 

This post has also been written to respond to-shed light on-and address some concerns expressed to me.

I realize that there are people who strongly disagree with my position and believe that the March4Children was a hate event. I hope that this post will show why I and many others participated in the ‘Million March4Children’ and why we are very concerned for the protection of all children in school.

These are the Concerns which were presented to me that  I will be addressing:

  • My heart literally hurts for the children who continue to be a minority, who continue to be targeted and who continue to struggle with trying to feel safe, accepted, and loved.
  • This march represents everything I disagree with in terms of supporting human rights. Today, I will reassure those children who are scared, confused and unsure if it is safe for them to attend school, go out in public, or eventually lose their charter rights.
  • People continue to make incorrect assumptions about our LGBTQ community and gender ideology.  What saddens me is the misconceptions people have about what is actually being taught in schoolsno one I know is teaching children to question their gender identities. 
  • I will actually stand up against hate today, and do my very best to be an ally for those who need it most.

Hurting Children Who Are A Minority

Concern:  My heart  literally hurts for the children who continue to be a minority, who continue to be targeted and who continue to struggle with trying to feel safe, accepted, and loved.

My Response: Loving and caring for these children as well as all the children  is the right thing to do.   I support your concern for kids whom you see who do not feel safe, accepted and loved. I do not see that happening daily as you obviously do- so I can understand your concern for these children.  It is good and important  to care for them and love them– I agree wholeheartedly! No one should be bullied!


I am hurting for these children too – the ‘minority’ children you speak of.  I am hurting for all children who are being confused about their identity and gender.  I am  also deeply concerned for kids who are going through a time of struggle, especially during puberty, when many are uncomfortable with the  changes they are experiencing in their developing bodies and are very vulnerable to the loud voices of those who proclaim that you can be whatever sex you choose. 

  • I want all children to know that they were created beautifully as male or female.
  • I want them to know that the Bible tells us that God loves every person born into this world and tells us that He knew each one before they were even born (Psalm 139:13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.)  He has a wonderful plan for their lives! (Psalm 32:8  I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.)
  • I want children to go to school and learn the life skills and subjects that will prepare them with knowledge that will enable them to be successful in their life and in their work. 

The parents, family members, concerned citizens who participated in the March4Children do not want:

  • their children being taught about Sexual relations that are in opposition to the values that they believe in and
  • their children  taught about Gender ideology  which is certainly confusing them about who they are. More on this later.
  • inappropriate pornographic and sexually explicit books in the school libraries and
  •  LGBTQIA2S lessons being taught and woven into other subjects. 
  • their children being socially transitioned behind their backs- purposely denying parental rights.

The following thoughts are from a wise friend who has been a teacher in the public school system for years:

“Bullying is a common occurrence in schools. It is wrong and should not be tolerated. Talking with children about how to handle bullying is part of parenting and equipping children with the resilience they need as they encounter difficult situations. Bringing instances of bullying to the attention of teachers and principal is also important. 

It is also worth noting that the values being taught in school are subjective and expanding to be what some consider normative and safe, but without concurring evidence.  The short and long term consequences in holding subjective and untested views poses serious risk in any context and accelerates bullying.”

Whatever children are struggling with, they should not be mutilating their bodies looking for a cure (speaking of medical transition here)  instead, they should be able to receive counselling to help them  find the root of their distress. This section of an article Worthwhile Questions We All Should Ask written by a desisted trans person offers very practical questions that should be asked of anyone who is in distress.

 I also want all people to know that Jesus loves them so much that He died in their place so that they can receive forgiveness of sin and have a life that is full, rewarding and purposeful in this life and for eternity!

(More thoughts from a friend.) “Here we see the unspoken link between ideology and spirituality. The sinister aspect of this ideology is that like any other belief, it has its roots in the spiritual realm (as evidenced by the satanic flag.) That realm can be life giving or it can be destructive. Here is an example in which this ideology is exposed as one that is grounded in destruction. A child in elementary school is being “fed” this concept having no ability to discern the life affirming or death producing roots of what they are being taught to believe. 

We affirm that abundant life emanates from God and was secured for us through Jesus Christ.”  

Sadly, in 2013, the Bible was no longer allowed to be distributed to children in schools. Instead, there is an open door to specialty groups teaching students (children) about their beliefs. Planned Parenthood being a prime example. The content of a recent presentation at a school in Saskatchewan for Grade 9 students was discovered (some materials that were left in the classroom included a set of alphabet cards that explicitly described immoral and disgusting sexual acts and situations). The Principal at that school has suspended this group for now- a small victory! More on this later.

Hurting Children Who Are A Minority-Continued

 

I do not agree with affirming children’s mental confusion, whatever they may be struggling to figure out. They need understanding and counseling to get to the root of their distress.  The harmful type of Conversion Therapy that Canada has recently banned has not been in practice for over 50 years. Yet the Government, with Bill C-4, has made it illegal for parents to pursue any counselling therapy for children with gender dysphoria which often reveals the trauma that is causing the dysphoria. 

Sadly,  Canada is forging ahead with harmful practices, beginning with social transition leading to puberty blockers, hormone  treatments and surgical removal of genitals and breasts! This path leads to a life time of dependence on drugs and  significantly impacts their health. Program for LGBTQ Health

                    Meanwhile, there are other countries which have been on this treatment path but have changed course as they have come to realize the harms of this practice.

Denmark Joins the List of Countries That Have Sharply Restricted Youth Gender Transitions  A major medical journal Ugeskrift for Læger,  the Journal of the Danish Medical Association, confirmed that there has been a marked shift in the country’s approach to caring for youth with gender dysphoria. Most youth referred to the centralized gender clinic no longer get a prescription for puberty blockers, hormones or surgery—instead they receive therapeutic counseling and support.

The NHS Ends the Gender – Affirmative Care Model realizing there is much more to understand about Gender Dysphoria and the harm to children and people who transition medically.

This article of a detransitioner made this list of questions he says need to be asked of anyone who is struggling with their identity and understanding why they feel as they do.   Worthwhile Questions We All Should Ask

The majority of children who struggle with their identity, if just left alone, will go through puberty and will come to feel comfortable with their biological sex.

 The following are a couple examples of mental disorders that are NOT treated by simply affirming the distress. I think we would all agree that we  would never consider affirming or encouraging anyone we love to continue down the pathway of  these destructive disorders… Anorexia;   Body Integrity Identity Disorder  

Sadly, many of our Professional Counsellors and Doctors are doing just that- proceeding directly to Gender Affirmative care.  Gender Dysphoria is diagnosed for many  children who are struggling with other mental or physical health issues. At this time, in Canada, children are not legally allowed to receive any type of counseling to explore, identify or determine what may be causing their gender distress. 

Instead, children are being given the authority and unbelievable responsibility to self-identify as whatever sex they choose (and YES, the SOGI 123 teaches this to children). Adults, Parents, Guardians in their life MUST accept the child’s self proclaimed identity and call their child  by their chosen name/pronouns. If this child desires to transition,  the parents and other adults in their life must affirm their decision and NOT QUESTION them. If and when they do, their child can, by law, be taken away from them. It is one of the roles of parents to protect their children.

Children’s brains are not developed until they are in their mid 20’s so life-altering health decisions being made by children should be questioned!   

This article, Maturation of the Adolescent Brain states this:

“In fact, there are characteristic developmental changes that almost all adolescents experience during their transition from childhood to adulthood. It is well established that the brain undergoes a “rewiring” process that is not complete until approximately 25 years of age.”

It’s a sobering story of the harm done to hundreds of children. It’s about distressed adolescents, desperate parents, over-stressed professionals, and out-of-control activist organizations. do not agree with keeping secrets from Parents about what is happening with their children at school. For example, Socially transitioning their child and keeping this from the Parents.

Parents have the right to know and counsel their children. This is ONE of the important reasons parents came together in the recent march. Their rights as parents are being taken over by Government, activists and educators.

Parents in Canada and the US are being denied knowledge of their child’s decisions.

Several Governments in Provinces of Canada have recently changed their position: Canadian politicians stampeding away from policy of concealing gender transitions from parents  It’s a marked reversal for a Canadian political establishment that was previously intensely reluctant to oppose any issue framed as advancing trans rights.

I do not agree with schools sexualizing children and taking away their innocence.  Much more on this later…

 

Human Rights Include Parental Rights

 

Concern:  “This march represents everything I disagree with in terms of supporting human rights.”

My Response:  Consider this “Freedom of Speech for Me, but Not for Thee” 

Human Rights – Parents Rights was the main purpose of this march. Rights for parents to know what is happening with their children in school. Parents have the right and responsibility to raise their children but this right is being trampled upon. Parents do not want their children to be indoctrinated with a set of beliefs that are neither scientific nor align with their faith or worldview.  Many children are being harmed by this ideology!   

This is an excerpt from an article “How Gender Ideology Imposes A Dangerous Political Agenda in Our Schools” , by Pascale Burgeois. It is an article well worth the time to read in full by clicking the link in the article title.

Gender Ideology in Canadian schools

“Gender ideology, for instance, is filled with radical claims that are either scientifically false or, at the least, highly debatable, and yet is infiltrating our school curriculum and politics. Legitimized by laws that were recently passed to protect trans people all over Canada –and trans people should, indeed, be entitled to respect, dignity and safety, just as everyone else –, a gender affirmative[2] approach has been implemented in our schools. To support the gender affirmative approach, however, one needs to endorse ideological views on sex and gender that one doesn’t necessarily agree with. So, by making the affirmative approach mandatory, we are exercising thought control over teachers, parents and students. Furthermore, its implications, though immense for our children’s intellectual, physical and moral integrity, are apparently not open for debate. Most parents and members of the community are unaware of the implications of switching out rationality for critical pedagogy unless they become directly concerned with it.

Under the directives of inclusivity, diversity and equity (well-intentioned social justice goals critical pedagogies exploit for their own purposes), teachers are being asked to systematically affirm the self-declared gender of their students, support their social and medical transitions – often in secrecy from parents – and accept the scientifically false assertion that biological sex is not binary, and the debatable one that masculine and feminine expectations of gender is entirely a social construct that needs to be deconstructed and replaced by an exponential multiplication of non-binary genders[3]. Rather than support individual students who may be gender-questioning, all students are systematically taught, through unicorn charts[4] and genderbread persons[5], that both sex and gender are a continuum, and that they can choose to be whatever they feel they want to be, making social and medical transitions sound like a trip to the mall to renew your wardrobe[6]. Parents, meanwhile, are being told that they have no rights regarding their children’s safety and health and that they may even pose a threat unless they agree to submit to the tenets of gender ideology.

This ideology is being pushed into our lives and imposed on all of us, often by bullying techniques such as threats, insults, and intimidation. We are all now well aware that anyone who questions or criticizes gender ideology and its claims will be submitted to accusations of bigotry, transphobia, discrimination and hate speech, and that one can lose their job, their social network, and even the custody of their child over this – an effective way to force people into compliance (because, I am a good person, right?), or, at least, to close off any avenues for anyone who disagrees.”

BC father sentenced to 6  months prison for speaking out about daughter’s medical transition

In April 2021, a father in BC was sent to jail for 6 months for opposing his 14 year old daughter’s gender transition.


On January 7, 2022, Bill C-4 came into effect, making it a criminal offense if you do not support your child’s gender dysphoria and desire to transition. In other words, a parent could be criminally charged and go to jail for advising his/her daughter not to have her breasts removed.

The LGBTQIA2s community has freedom of speech but those who speak out to bring up their concerns are called haters, homophobes, transphobes,  bigots, biphobes etc, Why? Because their values do not align with LGBTQIA2s ideology.

Where did the term ‘Parental Rights’ come From?  (CBC Article)

Phrase adopted by wide spectrum of groups:

“We live in a very connected, networked world, so ideas about the framing of parental rights travels across national borders into Canada, to the U.S., to Australia, to the U.K. and back again,” said Gilbert.

Today, the phrase has been used by groups with a spectrum of political, social and religious affiliations. 

But it’s also been adopted by Canadian organizations like Action4Canada, a COVID-19 conspiracy group, and groups in the U.S. like Moms For Liberty, which the Southern Poverty Law Centre lists as a hate group.


In the CBC article, notice how Action4Canada.com  is labelled as  a Covid19 Conspiracy group and Moms For Liberty is labelled as a HATE group! 

If you don’t agree with the views of the  2LGBTQIs Community, you will be labelled as a hater and some other not very nice names! 


Revolution is happening across the world. It can be defined as a forcible overthrow of a government or social order, in favor of a new system. Social Order in Canada and many other Countries across the world is under attack!

In his book, “We will Not Be Silenced ‘ Dr Edwin Lutzer explains how Revolutions begin:

Revolutions begin with a cultural moment, a pretext that will hide the real agenda to justify the revolution. You need (1) the triumph of an ideology over science, reason, and civil liberties. Then you (2) recruit people who are willing to advance the revolution of anarchy in the name of justice and equality. And finally, (3) you must silence all dissident voices. Submission to the ideology is enforced either by shaming, by laws, or simply by exclusion, such as opposing voices from the workplace.”


At the march in Charlottetown, as in many other cities across Canada, the LGBTQIA2s group came out in full display disrupting the ability of our speakers to be heard over their loud music and chanting. This community has been given special rights to display their flags basically everywhere, their rainbows, month long celebrations, painted walkways, slogans, messages almost everywhere you look and we are subjected to their agenda continuously. 

It saddens me that they do not respect our right of free speech.


A group of four women I was speaking to at the march had these comments for me:   “Up your a**”   and “Go F*** yourself”  and one was chanting over and over Radicalize our Children – exactly what we feel they are doing to ours…hmmm —not so kind! 

Misconceptions People Have about Gender Teaching in School

 

Concern: “What saddens me is the misconceptions people have about what is actually being taught in schools- no one I know is teaching children to question their gender identities.  In fact, the messaging is about being kind to everyone, regardless of who they are.  We teach about diversity and inclusion, and welcoming people as they are.  I will continue to do that.  I will actually stand up against hate today, and do my very best to be an ally for those who need it most.

My Response: (Misconceptions) Unless your school is an exception, your school is teaching Gender Ideology.  Children are being taught that there are many genders, gender is fluid so your gender can change. Children are being taught that although they were assigned a sex at birth- that assignment may have been a mistake because the doctor  just made an assumption based on the sex organs the child was born with. Really??  This is very confusing and  damaging to a child’s sense of identity! Confusing a child’s identity or affirming one’s faulty thinking is neither loving or kind. 


In regards to standing up against hate:

I do not understand this comment – it is the go-to response we hear when anyone expresses any disagreement with the beliefs of the LGBTQ community. As stated above, the main reason for this  march was for Parental Rights and the removal of harmful ideological teaching from the public school system.

Allister Begg  stated that

“homosexual people only allow for 2 options: ‘either you hate me- or you affirm me’.

The (true) Christian actually does neither. We do not hate nor do we affirm.  We can not hate because of God’s Word and we can not affirm because of God’s Word. And we are unprepared to rewrite the Bible in order to accommodate a society that needs the Bible and that needs Jesus Who is the focus of the Bible.”

Unfortunately, there will always be people who will act and speak in mean ways regardless of which side of an  issue they support and that is not acceptable.

Sadly, moral absolutes have little or no moral standing in our morally diverse modern society. Moral relativism is far more palatable for most ethicists and to the public at large. 

If there is no moral absolute in the world, then everyone can do whatever they believe is right in their own eyes.


 

How Replacing Biological Sex with Gender Identity Harms Children  Excerpts from this article: From the US but equally apply in Canada.

One example of transgenderism indoctrination is the common use in lower-elementary-school classrooms of the Gender Unicorn and Genderbread Person. These resources employ an endearing character (unicorn or gingerbread man) to guide young children through self-selecting their gender identity, their gender expression, the gender they’re physically attracted to, and the gender they’re emotionally attracted to. Each option — even their “sex assigned at birth” — includes the following categories: women/men, feminine/masculine, and “other.”

Parents are intentionally left in the dark by school personnel about the sexual content taught. Often, parents only find out about the inappropriate content from their children, who are confused and distressed about what they have been taught at school. 

Finally, those states and districts that forbid the disclosure of gender-ideology discussions and that conduct a gender-“transition” plan without parent consent nor communication are not only damaging children but also driving a wedge between parents/legal guardians and their children. Schools label parents who do not affirm their child’s claim to be a gender other than their biological sex as unsupportive. School personnel then quickly and persistently claim that these children are in immediate danger by their “unsupportive” parents and at imminent risk of suicide.

The Big Question is, Why Are These Children Struggling?

If you pay little attention to what is in this post, I ask you- PLEASE – listen to what Nadine Ness has to say in  this video. You will be alarmed and educated.

She knew from a very young age that she wanted to help protect children from experiencing the same trauma she had.

She became a police officer with the RCMP and took special training on how to profile and interview sex offenders. Learn what this has to do with your children and their education!

I urge you all to listen to this video attentively so that you will understand that what is being taught about sexuality in schools is very concerning!

The following information is taken from Action4Canada.com

“The number of students who struggled with transgenderism, prior to the use of the SOGI 13 resource, was zero. This is an adult sexual proclivity, not a child’s. It has created a social contagion. There is an over 4515% increase in girls who now say they identify as a boy. This number is from 2018 and has since significantly increased as a direct result of the SOGI learning resource.” 

The Canadian government , as well as the education system, has been infiltrated by radical LGBTQ activists who are using the SOGI 123 learning resource to promote homosexuality and transgender ideology, and normalize sexual deviancy.

The SOGI 123 learning resource promotes and endorses vile sexually explicit and pornographic books which are available to children and youth throughout the schools, as well as in public libraries and online. This is resulting in many young people being exposed to pornographic materials and websites being encouraged to masturbate, and experiment sexually with the same sex. According to a 2018 study there has been a 4515% increase in girls seeking to ‘transition’ to the opposite sex. “Some educationalists have previously warned that the promotion of transgender issues in schools has ‘sown confusion’ in children’s minds and that encouraging children to question gender has ‘become an industry,’ 

Action4Canada has been working to expose the agenda to sexualize our children since nearly the inception of this resource but many Canadians were not willing to do anything about it out of fear of being called homophobic or racist. It is time to change this. It’s time to get educated and take action.

Introducing children to this program is a portal for exposing minors to sexually explicit/pornographic materials (books, magazines, comic strips), sexual deviancy (such as teaching children to masturbate and introducing youth to organizations that are involved in exploiting minors). These are criminal offences according to Section 163.1Section 152 of the Criminal Code, and the Canadian Centre for Child Protection defines them as sexual abuse.

Is it surprising that parents are concerned about this being taught to their children?

From a Gender Lesson for young children:

Introduction: On Gender (10-15 minutes; whole group seated at tables/desks)

1. Tell students we will talk about gender; write “gender” on board and ask, “what is gender? Do we know?” Listen to and repeat a few answers from students.

2. Explain:
     a. Everyone has a gender.
     b. Gender is about how a person feels inside.
     c. People cannot see how you feel inside.

3. Write “how you feel inside” next to “gender” on the board. Explain that a person’s gender can be:
     a. girl,
     b. boy,
     c. both boy and girl, or
     d. neither girl nor boy.

“The name Gegi is an acronym of gender expression and gender identity,” explains Airton. “We wanted a unicorn because of the joy that the unicorn represents.”

Linking your curriculum to academic learning standards

Making a Difference! An Abstinence Approach to HIV/STD and Teen Pregnancy Prevention

 A Be Proud, Be Responsible Curriculum – Identified by the CDC as a “program that works”

Abstinence in the lessons  Making a Difference would be defined as only avoiding the sexual behaviors that might cause pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections. 


The Rationale for this particular learning Activity in this program is that:

Understanding that there are many behaviors that express sexual feelings – it helps participants choose sexual behaviors that do not result in pregnancy or sexually transmitted infection.

This is certainly  NOT what most people would consider an Abstinence Program! Check out this LINK to see the content that is discussed.

Procedure:

  • Have participants brainstorm answers to the following question. With all the messages teens are receiving about sex, what are some of the ways people express their sexual feelings to themselves or other people? 
  • Elicit as many answers as you can.

ANSWERS MAY INCLUDE:

oral sex, caressing, dancing, masturbation, talking, hugging, kissing, talking, grinding, sexual fantasy, anal sex, massage, holding hands, cuddling on the couch, touching each other’s genitals, vaginal intercourse, saying “I like you”

Facilitators note

Be sure, participants understand the definition of vaginal intercourse, oral, sex, anal, sex, and masturbation:

-Vaginal intercourse on or sexual intercourse, needs a man’s penis in a woman’s vagina oral sex needs a persons mouth on another persons, genitals anal sex means a man’s penis in a persons, anus, rectum, or behind. Masturbation means rubbing, stroking, or playing with one’s own genitals, or the genitals of another person.

Genderbread Person– has 3 options for genitalia; Gender Unicorn-appears to be a user-friendly, cutesy poster. Kids are asked where they fit on the gender spectrum, NOT as boys or as girls but on A SPECTRUM; Sex assigned at birth-does not determine your gender.

This is very confusing for children!!

TALKING ABOUT FAMILY

There is some good content in this short video however, it normalizes having 2 mom’s or 2 dads.

Some of the teacher’s questions to the kids are.. Teacher: Who’s in a family? Children: mom, sister, dad.  Teacher  “does there have to be a dad?” Children:  “NO” quite loudly!

One child says that she has 2 moms and the Teacher: “What do we say? She has double the mommies.” Also featured is a 2 dad family.

A child says, “there’s no such thing as boys and girls.” This child also names her pronouns.

Research shows that early exposure to sexual content is linked to poor mental health, risky sexual behavior, and even pornography addiction in adulthood.

Even if kids may not fully understand what they are seeing and hearing, they are being shaped by the messages and learn to act on them.

By including or promoting books like these in the classroom, schools are harming, not helping, children.  

‘Who Are You?’ by Brook Pessin-Whedbee

Complete with a gender wheel, “Who Are You?” is a “kid’s guide to gender identity.” 

The book begins by explaining that everyone has a sex “assigned” to them at birth, but “[s]ometimes people get this confused with gender. But gender is much more than the body you were born with.”

The Real Story Behind Drag Queen Story Hour

Aimed at children, the phenomenon is far more subversive than its defenders claim.

“To state it plainly, within the historical context of the USA and Western Europe, the institutional management of gender has been used as a way of maintaining racist and capitalist modes of (re)production.”

To disrupt this dynamic, the authors propose a new teaching method, “drag pedagogy,” as a way of stimulating the “queer imagination,” teaching kids “how to live queerly,” and “bringing queer ways of knowing and being into the education of young children.” As Kornstein and Keenan explain, this is an intellectual and political project that requires drag queens and activists to work toward undermining traditional notions of sexuality, replacing the biological family with the ideological family, and arousing transgressive sexual desires in young children.(Emphasis added)

“Building in part from queer theory and trans studies, queer and trans pedagogies seek to actively destabilize the normative function of schooling through transformative education,” they write. “This is a fundamentally different orientation than movements towards the inclusion or assimilation of LGBT people into the existing structures of school and society.”

For the drag pedagogists, the traditional life path—growing up, getting married, working 40 hours a week, and raising a family—is an oppressive bourgeois norm that must be deconstructed and subverted. As the drag queens take the stage in their sexually suggestive costumes, Kornstein and Keenan argue, their task is to disrupt the “binary between womanhood and manhood,” seed the room with “gender-transgressive themes,” and break the “reproductive futurity” of the “nuclear family” and the “sexually monogamous marriage”—all of which are considered mechanisms of heterosexual, capitalist oppression. The books selected in many Drag Queen Story Hour performances—CinderelliotIf You’re a Drag Queen and You Know ItThe Gender WheelBye Bye, Binary, and They, She, He, Easy as ABC—promote this basic narrative. Though Drag Queen Story Hour events are often billed as “family-friendly,” Kornstein and Keenan explain that this is a form of code: “It may be that DQSH is ‘family friendly,’ in the sense that it is accessible and inviting to families with children, but it is less a sanitizing force than it is a preparatory introduction to alternate modes of kinship. Here, DQSH is ‘family friendly’ in the sense of ‘family’ as an old-school queer code to identify and connect with other queers on the street.” That is, the goal is not to reinforce the biological family but to facilitate the child’s transition into the ideological family.

After the norms of gender, sexuality, marriage, and family are called into question, the drag queen can begin replacing this system of values with “queer ways of knowing and being.” Kornstein and Keenan make no bones about it: the purpose of what they call drag pedagogy, or the “pedagogy of desire,” is about reformulating children’s relationship with sex, sexuality, and eroticism. (Emphasis added)

A Canadian couple have filed a human rights complaint against an Ontario school board for telling their six-year-old daughter during a lesson on gender identity that “there’s no such thing as boys and girls.”

Pamela and Jason Buffone have filed the complaint on behalf of their daughter against the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board, the child’s former teacher and the principal of her school on grounds of discrimination on the basis of sex, gender and gender identity in contravention of the Human Rights Code.

Gender diversity overview When people are born they are typically assigned a sex of either male or female based on their genitals. Biologically, however, there is actually a fair amount of sex variation in the general population. Some people have sex variations that include chromosomal, hormonal or physiological characteristics that are comprised of both male and female categories (referred to as intersex people). As such, not all people are exclusively categorized as male or female due to variations in chromosomes, hormones and physical anatomy. Furthermore, people’s gender identity does not always align with the sex they were assigned at birth. Gender identity is a personal, deeply felt sense of being male, female, both, neither or something else. Everyone has a gender identity. Gender identity can also be fluid rather than static and change over time for some people. This document implies that Intersex is more common than it is -it is actually quite rare.

Self-identification is the sole measure of an individual’s sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression. Students or parents/guardians should not be asked to produce notes from psychologists or medical professionals or any other documents. 

So children- based on their FEELINGS- not science- can identify as whatever they FEEL like and have access to opposite sex washrooms, change rooms, sports teams etc. Meanwhile many other students’ rights are being taken away. Their space is no longer safe. Feelings are not reliable (truth) at any stage of life. Our feelings often lead us astray.

All schools in Canada are not yet using the SOGI 123 program but it is their intention to have their program instilled in all schools across Canada. It is a program that intersperses sexual orientation into every subject.

The SOGI 1 2 3 program is pushed as an anti-bullying program, but what it actually does is teach kids pseudoscientific ideas about sex and gender. Its core tenet, displayed at the very top of the sogieducation.org landing page, is that: Everyone has a sexual orientation and gender identity, including children.

However, there is zero scientific evidence or basis for the idea of gender identity. In fact, most children grow out of gender dysphoria by adulthood.

Despite this, SOGI-inclusive education takes an “affirmative” approach to gender identity, meaning that when children vocalize a transgender identity for any reason, the school is to use their chosen name and pronouns and treat the child as the opposite sex. This includes giving the child access to opposite-sex facilities and sports. SOGI guidelines also instruct educators not to disclose any of this to parents without the child’s explicit permission. Stand Against Hate

Concern:  I will stand up against hate, the same way I do everyday in my work when people continue to make incorrect assumptions about our LGBTQ community and gender ideology”

My Response: According to the LGBTQIs community, it seems that strongly disagreeing with them- means that we hate them. For those experiencing ‘true hatred’, not just polite disagreement, I am sorry for that. However, this march4children was NOT about hate.


The parents and concerned citizens who participated were not there to demonstrate hate to anyone and neither was I. These parents and concerned citizens STRONGLY  DISAGREE with what the education system is teaching and imposing on their children and they want it to STOP.  

 Disagreeing with a person on their beliefs  is NOT HATING the person- but this is what people- (parents and concerned citizens) are being accused of when they do not agree with LBTQ IA+ activist views -especially where it concerns their children!.

Schools in Canada are inserting teaching about questionable sexual practices and gender ideology into various subjects that parents have not consented to or have been consulted about.

Gender Ideology is based on ‘feelings’ and ‘self-identifying’ oneself – not science. It is certainly confusing for a child to have believed that they were a boy or a girl and then have adults that they look up to – teachers-tell them that there are many genders, that gender is fluid. You can be a boy, or a girl, or neither. That is damaging and destructive! 

At this time in history, as it was back in the days when this verse, Judges 17:6 was written, everyone wants to do what is right in their own eyes which signifies a highly individualistic, and self-centered social reality. Our basis for morality, right and wrong, is centered upon our own will and desires.

“Now, when I reflect on my “switch” from being an unrelenting trans activist/“ally” to being critical of gender identity ideology and legislation, I’m chilled at how easy it was for me — a psychologist (now retired), ostensibly trained to understand the human mind — to become so caught up in the momentum of “trans rights” that I avoided critical thought, much like a new member of a cult. And, while I’m reluctant to call trans activism a “cult,” I’m aware of many disconcerting similarities: the absolute refusal to allow anyone to criticize issues; silencing, smearing, and ostracizing those who do ask questions (in this case, labeling them “transphobic”) about the ideology of transgenderism; and pressuring individuals (from parents to health professionals) to blindly adhere to the view that some people are “born in the wrong body,” and that the only way to “fix” this error is through medical intervention, such as puberty-suppressing drugs, cross-sex hormones, and various surgeries, rather than with psychological intervention. And, much like in a cult, those who push gender identity ideology discourage independent thought, and instead respond to requests for evidence and facts to support their beliefs with platitudes, mantras, and scare tactics, repeated over and over, until they become reality.

Summary

Gender Ideology is not scientific, sex is not assigned at birth; Sex is established at conception and there are many differences between males and females that are not visible.

At the core, few students of physiology are surprised that men and women can differ. At the very least, males produce testosterone and females produce the sex hormones estrogen and progesterone. What has become evident, with respect to the cardiovascular system, is that the differences and similarities involve more than the sex hormones, per se. It is essential to realize that every cell has a “sex” thanks to the presence of either an XX or an XY chromosome, that this sex is manifested in the womb, and that, beyond behavioral differences, prepubertal differences exist between the cardiovascular systems of boys and girls. (emphasis mine)

So, changing clothing, hair styles, names, pronouns, cutting off healthy body parts and getting fake new body parts, does not transform people to the opposite sex than they were conceived as. All it does is change their appearance.

What transitioning does is destroy the health of the person (experimentation) and many trans people are coming to realize that.  Many people who transitioned are coming to realize that they did NOT understand the life long health challenges they would encounter after surgery and that transitioning did not make their Gender Dysphoria did not go away.

It is going through puberty that is most often the cure for Gender Dysphoria and many children are being put on puberty blockers which is preventing the very process that could enable the child to become comfortable with their body as it is.

There are very serious health concerns that Transgenders will have throughout their lives and they should most certainly be warned about these very concerning risks.

They love their children and they want ALL children to be safe from the indoctrination of Gender Ideology.
