What's it like to be married to me?

Consider: Would you Want To be Married to You?

I think most people when first reading the title, “What’s it like to be married to me? will feel intimidated. Some may feel pretty confident thinking they are doing great, and another group may feel a deep sense of failure. For sure, it’s a deep searching question and being honest with yourself will be very uncomfortable. It’s so much easier to look at our spouse and see what they need to change isn’t it?!

But if we will closely examine ourselves, all of us can learn a lot by seeing ourselves through the eyes of our spouse. In other words, Wife would ask herself, “what does it feel like to be my husband?” or for husbands to ask themselves “What does it feel like to be my wife?”

Who is this book for? Anyone who is married!

Although this book was written by a woman mainly to wives, it is certainly equally applicable for men to read and ask themselves the very same questions Dillow raises. After all, we are in this relationship together and it can be the most satisfying when both partners are working on the marriage.

Embedded below are two interviews with author Linda Dillow and interviewer, Dr. James Dobson for you to listen to their very interesting and challenging discussion.
