The Best Identity: Created In God's Image!
You have been fearfully and wonderfully made; you were created as a male or a female in the very image of God which is: The Best Identity:
To be sure, you are not a mistake, God does not make mistakes; you are not an afterthought; you are not a liability. God knew you before you were ever born.
Psalm 139:16 You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
The Best Identity: You were created on purpose for a special purpose.
The Bible says in Ephesians 2:10 that we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Wow, that is something we can be excited about! We have a Divine Design and a Divine Purpose!
Think about this: Everything about you is absolutely unique; no one on this planet has your DNA.
However, our culture is trying to re-define you, to impose another identity on you, to ruin the purpose God has for you.
We have an enemy whose name is Satan and he is running rampant with this issue of identity. He does not want The Best Identity for you!
We can easily observe this because gender beliefs, male and female, held in humanity since the beginning of time are being redefined and these beliefs are based on feelings rather than science or biology. The things that God has already given definitions to, select groups of people are redefining… but you are who God says you are; you are who he has created you to be.
Indeed, the issue of identity is so important that our enemy, Satan, seeks to: confuse you, steal your sense of value, steal your sense of worth and to twist and turn your identity from the image of who God has created you to be. He wants to keep you from fulfilling the purpose God has planned for you!
Satan’s purpose is:
The thief’s (Satan) purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. John 10:10
Jesus purpose is:
“I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. John 10:10, 11
There is a spiritual war going on over The Best Identity: Created In God’s Image!
Indeed, Satan knows that if he can keep you from being who God made you to be, if he can hide, distort, confuse and destroy your true identity, The Best Identity: that God intended for you, then Satan succeeds in hurting God’s created children- you and me!
So, how does Satan keep you from knowing your true identity and confuse and deceive you into taking on a false identity?
- the opinions of other people,
- significantly by social media,
- Through radical, political activists who are using the LGBTQ platform to advance a global agenda to sexualize children, interfere with parental rights, eliminate the natural family and normalize pedophilia. They are preying on vulnerable children by systematically indoctrinating them with transgender ideologies, which are intended to create identity crises leading to depression, psychosis and a high risk of suicide. - Through your peers, your friends,
- even your public school curriculum is teaching you that your gender may not match your biological sex, the God-given identity you were born with. They teach you about your potential false identity.
- Satan also uses hurt, pain, resentment, bitterness, confusion, anger and shame in your life to deceive you and disguise your true identity.
Satan tells you LIES to re-direct you from your best identity-such as:
- you have to earn God‘s acceptance to be loved and liked by him,
- you have to earn God’s love;
- you don’t matter; you’re not important;
- you’re never going to amount to anything;
- you know that sin you committed, you could never be forgiven for that.
God tells you the TRUTH: You were created in God’s Image
Since God created you on purpose for a specific purpose your identity is directly connected to that; no one values you more than God!
- God takes pleasure in His creation. In Genesis 1 we read that five times, God stands back, as it were, and takes stock of his creation. Each time the text says, “And God saw that it was good” (verses 4, 12, 18, 21, 25)
- God takes pleasure in His creation because: READ MORE HERE
1 John 3:1 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
1 Peter 2:9 But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Isaiah 43:4 You are precious in my eyes, and honored, and I love you…
Why are we extremely valuable to God?
Jesus paid the ultimate price for you and me, He gave his life and that shows just how much we are valued! A lot of people say: I’m nothing, I’m worthless, I’m no good, I’m just junk, Jesus did not die for junk!
So, how much are you worth? Look at the cross, this is how much you’re worth! Jesus came to earth, lived a sinless life and willingly gave up his life, his blood, to a cruel and unjustified crucifixion on the cross. WHY? It was so that my sin and yours can be forgiven. That we can live our life on earth with purpose in His strength and in His identity. This is also God’s plan for your destiny, life eternal with Him after our life on earth is over.
Importantly, Jesus did not stay in the tomb but rose from the dead and is coming again to earth- and it could be very soon!

Don’t let the world transform you into some image you won’t even recognize but instead God says:
Romans 12:2 don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God‘s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
By the way, did you take notice of the word ‘think’ in the verse above? The new gender ideology that is sweeping over the world is all about feelings rather than reality. This creates terrible confusion because what we think will radically transform us either for good or evil. We must trust the loving God who created us and believe in His perfect design.
If you let God define you and no one else define you, you will live out your purpose. It won’t always be easy but it will be worth it!
